I do a lot of 6 a.m. classes (or at least try to...) and I have to get up at 4:45 a.m. to make it happen. KILLER. But I always feel so great when I can get that knocked off my To-Do List first thing in the morning. Definitely try to go to bed earlier. I made the mistake of keeping my usual 12-12:30 bedtime, and woooo boy was it painful getting up early.
