How was your weekend?
Mine was great. I mean great as in, I didn't really do anything super out of the ordinary, but the ordinary was really great.
Friday I had such a good night with friends. I am SO thankful for the friendships that God has given me. I cherish them and don't take them for granted. Whenever I am with these people I am just thankful. And when you are thankful, I think you enjoy the moment even more.
I spent Saturday recovering from Friday. I was so tired. I parked myself on the couch and watched Parenthood seasons 1 and 2 from beginning to end. Do any of you watch this show? You should! It is so so good!
Sunday I headed to church. Oh so good as always. and then I had my first round of meetings as an advisor for my sorority. I am cracking up that I am at the point, post college, where I am old enough to be an advisor. I am excited to help out. My first Advisor duty: Chaperon the upcoming formal. How hysterical is that?!
Sunday night I headed over to a friends for beer, bbq and basketball. It was a great evening and it helped, just a little that UK made it to the FINAL FOUR!!! I know some of you may be confused at where my loyalty lies when it comes to sports. Is she an Alabama fan? Is she a UK fan? Is she even a fan at all? I will be honest. I cheer for Alabama in football and UK in basketball. I know I know, I need to straighten out my loyalty. But I mean come on... It is just sports right?
Anyways, after dinner I headed home to search for my final four tshirt from the last time UK got this far when I was like in 5th grade or something. I guess I threw it out. I was a bit disappointed I couldn't bust out that vintage gold this year.
It is pretty dreary here today and I have an INSANELY Busy week this week but for now I leave you with this.
It has been stuck in my head all weekend.
Happy Monday

What a great weekend for Kentucky basketball! I'm planning on driving down to Lexington for the game on Saturday. Go Cats!
