I Heart Summer
It is my most favorite time of the year!
I would trade all other seasons to keep summer and the feeling it gives me all year long.
I know it is going to sound cheesy but I feel so much more alive and upbeat in the summer.
I just think summer is more fun.
I find that I am much busier in the summer. But in a good way.
It is all fun things that start to fill my calendar from May to September.
This summer is no exception.
These past two weeks I have been busy busy with after work rendezvous'.
What am I doing this summer to keep my calendar booked?
Well
Mondays I usually have a dinner date with two of my most favorite people.
Every month I have supper club which is just great fun.
If you don't have a supper club around for you to jump into, start one!
I so am looking forward to mine this summer!
Supper club for May is happening tonight and I have been looking forward to it!
There is Tini Tuesdays.
Last night was my first trip to our local martini bar to indulge in half price martinis with some of my favorite people.
This will and should be a regular thing.
Every month I have a Fun Friday date with some of my favorite single ladies.
What is Fun Friday you ask?
Well it happens once a month in the summer time.
Always on a Friday.
And always with single friends.
We eat a meal.
Grab some drinks.
and paint the town red.
And maybe talk to a few guys here and there.
If your single, have single friends, Do a Fun Friday.
It is just once a month.
On top of the weekly and scheduled monthly events there are always weddings.
I love wedding season.
I LOVE to see all of my friends in one place for a great celebration
I LOVE wedding cake
And, usually, I LOVE to shake it on the dance floor.
There are Holidays.
Memorial Day.
4th Of July (my favorite holilday)
My birthday
and Labor day.
I have no plans for any of these days yet, minus my bday, but I am starting to plan and I am so excited!
Other things that invigorate me about summer:
Driving with all the windows down.
Weekends bye the pool
No makeup
Going bare foot
Blaring good, fun, summer music
Could their be a cheesier post....

ReplyDeleteI LOVE weddings! My friends count on me to start the dancing up. Even last summer when I went to multiple weddings in a foot cast, I was the first one out there.
