Um you guys are the bomb (can you still say that?)
I loved all of your thoughts on the master cleanse.
And after thinking it over and reading you comments
I am going to steer clear of it.
Because, I mean, who am I kidding, no food for ten days yea right.
And you have to drink nastiness in a glass, I can't even drink liquor, no thanks.
Instead I am going to take on a challenge.
Following my vacation which I will return from on the 14th, I am only going to eat fruits and veggies for 10 days.
I hear this is the most natural and best cleansing process for you.
This is the deal though.
I am the worst about making a commitment like this and then failing to prepare, so in turn I fail at the challenge.
So being prepared is key!
Have any of you ever cut out everything but fruits and veggies?
How did it go?
What did you do prepare?
Any recipes you can share?
Thoughts on this endeavor?
Onto the weekend.
I am heading home for Easter this weekend.
It should be nice.
But a quick trip.
Then I leave on Wednesday for my vacation to Honduras!
Happy Good Friday.
Happy Easter.
I am sure some of you have heard this song done by the David Crowder Band, and I'll be honest, I really don't like their version. Maybe because I have known about the original song done by John Mark for a long long time. SO this is my favorite version and I hope you love it as much as I do, it moves me every single time I hear it.
I hope it allows you to reflect on His great love for you this Easter weekend.
Oh How He Loves Us.

Peace,

Happy Easter! I have done veggies and fruits, but would definitely recommend adding a little bit of protein in there. I felt very weak/dizzy until I added some nuts or a Tbsp of peanut butter on an apple twice a day. Good luck! Sending you supportive vibes...
ReplyDeleteI am planning on doing the fruit and veggie thing next week! I've been researching "eat clean" recipes and I think I've found some tasty ones. I'll email them to you. Just need to be held accountable! We should make a chart like they do in kindergarten and post it up in one of our cubbies. You get a star each day if you were good and a frowny face if you were bad and ate meat/bread.
ReplyDeleteI've done a cleanse where I only ate fruits and veggies (with one piece of wheat bread per day) for 6 days. It wasn't terrible, but the first couple of days are really rough. I had a massive headache. I did lost 7 lbs though! Good luck!
ReplyDeleteLove that song! I can't wait to hear how the fruit & veggie cleanse goes. Have a fabulous Easter weekend and trip!
ReplyDeleteI think I could do all fruits & veggies if tofu and nuts were included -- which are all technically veggies, right? My husband makes a great tofu stif-fry -- yumyum, and so filling.
