Dear Friends,

I am at a standstill on what to write about this week.
I just have no good blog post ideas.
I mean, maybe none of my blog post ideas are ever really brilliant,
But I at least look forward to writing them.
I haven't felt that same fervor this week as I ususally do.

I apologize if you have noticed the lack of enthusiasm in my posts.
Or maybe they just seem the same to you
and I am the one over thinking this silly little blog.
No matter.

Either way, I am taking a midweek hiatus from scrounging up mediocre posts.
For the rest of the week I will leave you with other more exciting posts and articles that I am loving.

Today I am excited about the new Newsweek.

I hope you realize the dire straights our education system is in.

And if you aren't aware you should probably read just to be informed.

On a lighter note.

I am also into this.

Sidney over at So Chic has a wonderful guest blog series on Hostess Gifts going on.
I am not getting married anytime soon,
nor invovled in anything requiring me to provide a hostess gift.
But some of you are bride's-to-be like Sidney that need to serioulsy gear up for the Showers and the hostesses you will need to thank.
So head over there for some amazing ideas from other fellow bloggers.

Peace,

  2. Thanks for sharing the Newsweek article. As an educator, I have mixed feelings on the topic. While there are some terrible teachers who do need to be removed, majority of teachers that I see on a daily basis, are doing their best. I see the problem higher up. Superintendents, school board members, and law makers are setting standards that are unreachable.

I could go on and on! But I am glad you shared this link. There is certainly a problem, and whether it's teacher or lawmakers, I hope we find a solution.
