I recently moved cubbies at my office. Or as I like to call her Jan.
Jan and I have a love hate relationship.
This is my bosses door from inside my cubbie:

This is Jan:
As you can see there isn't a lot of distance between my bosses office and Jan.
And because of this I am now the unofficial secretary to my boss.
No big deal.
it doesn't bother me.
But I get quite a lot of visitors asking "Do you know where she is?"
"When will she be back"
"What is she doing in there?"
"Is she in there with someone?"
I never have the answers to these questions.
Maybe I should start making things up?
It is the new joke within our little cubbie area.
Peace,

I feel your pain. I sat outside of the main conference room for a few months. Torture.
I love your little Jan. and I love that picture on the wall! :-)
Sorry, Caro! I'm definitely guilty of that! Promise to be better.
At least you're far far away from the smelly kitchen and the super loud main conference room. Maybe you can take LT's soon-to-be-vacant office. You'll have better luck taking her place than I will! :)
I sit right next to my boss and I too get those questions! However, sitting next to her does have some perks, I have a window and I love it. I guess it is a nice payoff to have to answer those monotonous questions! ha! P.S. I love it that you name everything, i.e. your apt and your cube! :)
I get those questions for Mike all the time. I usually don't have the answers either because Mike doesn't consider me his secretary, everyone else does. Oh well. I am going to start saying he is scuba diving in the Swiss Alps. See if anyone picks up on the sarcasm.
haha that's funny...just make up some fun lies
Making things up could definitely prove entertaining!
P.S. I left you a little surprise on my blog :)
I left you a little something on my blog :)
I say, def make things up. Storytelling always makes the work day go by a little faster! A little BTW I used to follow you on twitter and I just realized today that I haven't seen your tweets in a while, and I went to check and I was blocked :( I know twitter can have a mind of its own sometimes, so I thought i'd just let you know! Love your blog!
i just found your blog and i think it is adorable! i especially had to laugh at this post because i've been dealing with the same issues. apparently our open office environment makes everyone double as part time babysitters ;)
anyway, just wanted to tell you i think your posts are funny and your blog is so cute!!
