Long Weekend

(photo from here)

I am heading to Nola this weekend (New Orleans).
Thank God.

I need a break.

Nola.
I have never been.
I think it is going to be spectacular.
I am headed down there with some of my dearest friends.
To eat
and shop
and laugh

It will be splendid.

I will be back on Monday.
Hopefully with some relaxed nerves.

Peace,

  5. new orleans is fun. for sure. & make sure you take your camera, please! it is dirty and sometimes pretty smelly though; so don't let it surprise you. and hit up cafe du monde. yum. (i doubt you'll be hanging out in cemeteries, but they make the best photos!)

  7. Love, love, love New Orleans! Here are some must dos:

    1) You must have a beignet at Cafe Du Monde - no matter the time of day (the one in the French Market is open 24 hrs!)

    2) Visit the French Market. Yes, it's smelly but you'll be surprised at the goodies!

    3) Party at Tipitina's.

    4) Go to a voo-doo shop.

    5) HAVE OH SO MUCH FUN!! YOU DESERVE IT!

  8. I feel like NOLA is my second home because I go there every 6 months if not more. Be on the lookout for Kate Hudson. She is taping a movie down there. My cousin saw her on Canal Street on a firetruck, and she has also been seen at Cafe Du Monde. Canal Place is my favorite place to shop along with a few shops on Magazine Street. The Gold Mine is one of the best places to go dancing! There are so many good places to eat! Have fun and be careful!
