Do you have this dress that I can have?

I am in search of this dress:

It is a dress by French Connection from last year, it is called the Clever Dress. It is not on Ebay. If any of you all have any suggestions on where I could find it, please let me know!

I am also trying to use EBay. I have never been big on it but at the moment I am 'watching' a few items. The problem is that no one really bids till the last second and I just don't have time to sit and wait for the last second and then get extreme anxiety over whether or not I am going to actually place my bid before the other cyberspace geek places his before the last second is gone. STRESSFUL!

Maybe if I actually win something my heart will be a little more devoted to Ebay. For right now though, I am a skeptic.

But please, first and formost, help me find this dress!

Weekend Bliss

So thankful it is Friday. And what makes it even sweeter is that My mom and her friend Mrs. Smith (who I love dearly and is a mentor to me) are in town. My mom and Mrs. Smith give the best advice. Living away from my family is hard. I have great friends here but nothing really compares to your mom and a more experienced wiser woman's advice. SO needless to say I am a very happy girl this weekend.

Here is some eye candy to get you through the end of Friday and onto the weekend!

Happy Weekend All!

Pavement Pounding Make Over

Oh my! What a whirlwind these past two weeks have been. Last week, as noted, my work life was insane. I was hoping for a fun weekend and time to rest up from the previous week but I got neither. My weekend was pretty terrible, sparing you the details, it did involve a one day 8hr car ride to and from Knoxville, a lonesome dog, crying, screaming, fighting and sickness. Needless to say, I wasn't exactly rested up for Monday. I felt my cold coming on Sunday night and it hit me hard on Tuesday when I left work early, over-dosed, basically, on Clariton D and Benadryl and slept for about 12 hours straight. Wednesday I pulled myself out of my coma and back into reality, rested up, drugged up and with a better attitude. I feel like my life is getting back on track. I cleaned last night and actually ran!

about that run...

Oh my, I feel out of whack with my running lately. Obviously I haven't run in about a week. Usually I try to run 3 times a week but from last week to this week I have only run once, last night.

I need to get a calendar and a plan I have decided. I need a plan so that I will stick to the plan. The 1/2 is February 14th, roughly 6 months away. It seems like a long time but with my crazy head, surprise plans, holidays and just life in general I know that not sticking to a plan will get me nowhere fast. And before I know it, it will be Feb 14th and I wont be ready... and that just isn't a possibility, I have to do this.

So here is my plan:

I will be following Hal Higdon's Novice 1/2 Marathon Training Plan
http://www.halhigdon.com/halfmarathon/novice.htm

It is a twelve week program which is perfect. Since I am a total beginner I need to work up to the 3 miles before I start this training plan and this 12 wk schedule, starting now, gives me an ample amount of time to get to 3. (If I dont get to three before my 12 wk mark I suck.)

Then I have a calendar... oh how calendars and I do not mix...But I will make this calendar my Biotch!

So Starting out I plan I have to be able to run 3 miles before starting the training plan.
I plan on starting the plan 12 wks out from the race which would have me starting the plan during the week of November 23

Up until this week I will be running to get to 3. I plan on being able to run 3 before November 23 so I may start the Higdon training plan earlier, we'll see.

Below is my calendar marked up with my running plan. I am sure it will switch up and change up depending on plans and what not but I will document everything on this calendar and update on here each week. Instead of doing daily Pavement Pounding segments they will now be weekly.

Anyone wanting use use this plan, I hear it is great and I will keep you posted on my personal experience!

Here's to getting serious!

McCall's complete fall look... Or one of the many...

My Toe to Head Fashion- Essentials for fall ‘09’

So, most people say head to toe but my fashion sense doesn’t always make perfect sense, therefore; I switched it up!

Starting with the toes, everyone needs a great pair of boots! I chose this boot from Aldo:

Because I am short I chose a boot with a heel, but it is obviously not necessary to have such a high heel on your everyday boot!

Next, I am absolutely in LOVE with these stretch ankle toothpick jeans from J.CREW and I really love them in black. The best thing about these jeans is that they tuck very nicely into a high boot, or you can slip on a nice pair of flats and go. Oh, and don’t forget galoshes for the rainy days!

For the top I actually chose something that I have never tried before. It is this distressed tailored shirt from Anthropologie. I like this color because you can wear it with anything. Also, because of the length of the top it will pair nicely with the tight black jeans. I can also slip this on with a nice pair of leggings if my body isn’t cooperating with jeans!

Recently I have developed a fettish for headbands and I think this feather headband from J.Crew is adorable!

For the bad hair day I threw in this hat from
Anthropologie

. To top off the entire outfit I like this somerset cape jacket from Anthro. Probably won’t keep me warm throughout winter but it is so cute I can’t resist!

These are just a few of the essentials that I need to start my new fall wardrobe- Oh yeah and I couldn’t post this without adding a dress!

I am such a dress girl and this Anthropologie dress is definitely going to be my fall fav!!

Guest Blogger Post : Melissa

Hello all! My name is Melissa. I’m one of Caroline’s best friends. I wanted to introduce everyone the website zazzle.com. I was able to easily create and design invitations for my roommate Sarah’s lingerie shower.

Zazzle.com is a multifunctional website that allows you to create personal designs for products such as mugs, business cards, postage stamps, t shirts, buttons, posters and the list goes on. I decided to use postcards as the invites. It was so easy! You have the option of browsing zazzle’s images or uploading images from your own files. You can adjust color, fonts, angles….. you name it, you can adjust it! The next best thing about zazzle.com is that you can create an account and at no charge to you sell your creations for a profit!

I fell in love with this website and was 100% satisfied with my results. My postcards came in 7 days and were glossy pieces of perfection. I had so much fun experimenting with my invites before landing on the final version. I wanted them to fit Sarah’s personality and set the tone for the lingerie shower.

Sarah is a posh southern girl and with sexy, sophisticated taste! She adores pink, fresh flowers, baby deer, Anthropologie, home cookin, vintage EVERYTHING and major, major, major creativity! With that said this is what was created for her from scratch!
