Makeup update

I wrote in a previous post how I was in the market for some new makeup. I had so many suggestions for what to get! Thank you! I am NOT good in this department and so your comments and suggestions really guided me.

Overwhelmingly for a foundation people talked up Laura Mercier tinted moisturizer.

So I gave it a try... and... I love it. Really I don't like a lot of thick or cake-y coverage on my face. But this stuff really is perfect for me. I have awful dry skin so it helps moisturizes throughout the day and I got the luminous formula which gives me a dewy glow. I dig it!


Another product everyone raved about was NARS blush in orgasm. Anything with that name better be the-bomb-dot-com on my face. And... It is. LOVE IT!
Next my eyes. Oh dear. I am really terrible with anything other than mascara. I headed to Sephora and headed straight to their makeup brand counter. I picked out an eye shadow duo that is simple but I really love the colors.


I also got a suggestion from one of my friends for Revlon Color Stay eye liner. Um it is cheap and I love it. Thank you Lauren for the suggestion.
In the mascara department, well I have become a little obsessed with this department. I have been using latisse for about 3 months and starting to see amazing results. And these results are enhanced by some kick-a mascara.

Right now I am using:
I do love this mascara. But I have heard amazing things from PIPM about
YSL Singulier Mascara. I headed to Saks last week to pick up a sample but they were out... boo... So I will use up the rest of my Dior and then try a tube of this out.

On my lips, again I am no good with lip color, So I picked up a simple color from the Sephora brand of makeup while in the store. But I did get a little crazy at a Mary Kay party my friend hosted. I picked up one of their holiday lip colors which is a little wild for me but it could be fun right?



So there you have it, my new face. I wouldnt say I look quite like a different person, but there has definitely been some improvement!
