I hope everyone's long weekend was fantastic! I am a little out of it today due to the long weekend, allergies and the craziness of this upcoming week. But let me start from the begininning.
I headed to KY this weekend. It is always good to be home. Potter came with me and met my parents Westie, Graham. Graham was a little taken aback by Pots and didnt quite know how to react to him.
here are the two little pups. As you can see they kept their distance from each other!
It was good to see my parents and to see friends. Whenever I go home I always wish that home was just a little closer than 5 hours away, say maybe 2 hours would be ideal... but that is life I guess.
Sunday night I headed over to The Wagner's house for a bbq with McCall and her husband Ryan. It was great. Good food and even better company. And Rachel was in from her first month as a freshman at Alabama... Roll Tide.

All in all it was a great relaxing weekend. I cant complain.
And again, this week I have a super short week. I am taking my vacation starting Thursday night and heading to chicago!
I will be meeting up with my brothers and sister-n-law! Hurray!

But I do have a question for you all... I will be in town on Friday ALL day before my peeps arrive and I am not leaving till late Monday Eve after my peeps leave. What should I do in the mean time? China town, art museum? Please don't say Navy Peir...

Hi Caroline! I recently discovered your blog and have enjoyed reading it :) I am SO jealous of your upcoming Chicago trip! I'm absolutely in love with that city (and U2 and the cubs!!). The art museum is great. Plus it is in walking distance to the Magnificent Mile & Millenium Park. You might also enjoy a show at Second City, though I'm not sure what's on now. Have a wonderful trip!
