Potter update

This is a terrible picture of me. But it is only one I have right now of Potter and I.

The little pup is doing well. He loves to chew right now. He chews everything, especially my arm.

At his 6wk vet appointment he weighed 2.2lb and at our last one on Saturday he had gained 5 ounces! he is now an astounding 2.7lb's! He is just so tiny!

He successfully knows his name and the word treat (of course) and I know he knows what 'No' means but he chooses not to listen (quite stubborn I have come to notice).

He still loves the neighbor dog Hubble. And I take him on a walk around the block twice a day. The funny thing is he can't really walk beside me, as I walk he has to jog/run behind me to keep up. This routine definitely wears him out and is good exercise for him.

This weekend we are headed to Charlotte to visit my best friend. This will be Potter's first real trip! I am a little nervous but have already planned all that I need to bring and have tried to map out the best possible car situation for him. I plan on letting him play in the floor board till it is his bed time (We will be driving at night) and then transferring him to his crate for the rest of the drive. We'll see how that goes. I am a little worried about making bathroom breaks for him along the way. I am not super familiar with the route to Charlotte and I don't want to stop at any "sketchy" rest stops along the way... ( I need a GPS). But I think we will be fine.

We head back to the Vet in 2wks for the 10wk check up!
