An Introduction

These are my best friends McCall and Melissa:

We have been best friends for 13 years. I consider them more than best friends really. They are like my blood. I love them so much sometimes it hurts. We grew up together. We were inseparable growing up, literally. Almost every memory I have from elementary school till now is with them. People told us when we graduated high school and moved away to different cities and colleges that our friendship wouldn't last. We knew this was bull. And I am very happy to have proved all of these predictions wrong. We have successfully remained as close together as always despite college, moves, men and most recently marriage. I think it is a rare think to find friendship like I have with these two gals. I don't think everyone experiences it. People sometimes don't understand our bond and it is really hard to explain if you don't have a friend like I have in Melissa and Mccall. But I try to explain it, even though words can't express the deepness and the bond we share.





I didn't mean to ramble there is a point this this little introduction beyond just introducing you to my two favorite people in the world.

This is Melissa:



She is BEAUTIFUL! Stunning actually! She has effortless hippie style which I am so jealous of. She can find the BEST bargains anywhere. I say it all the time, she is the wisest person I know. Seriously. She gives the best advice. We are very very very similar in our personalities, yet very different. She is very passionate and very motivated. She sticks it out. The girl has seen a lot and been through a lot and through all of it she still keeps going looking for the silver lining and knows that the hard stuff is going to pay off. She gives it her all, all the time! She is thoughtful and when she chooses to loves she loves whole heatedly. She is brutally honest, which is maybe my number 1 about her.Honesty is the best in a friendship and in life in general and Melissa will never not be honest with you about anything. She
is a super star really. I love her.





This is McCall:



Again, like Melissa, She is GORGEOUS, Stunning really! She is the tiniest thing ever, really. I can literally carry her around on my hip like a toddler,which I have recently :). She has the most beautiful nails. She wore hot pink nail polish on her wedding day! She has impeccably chic and sophisticated style. She can pick out the perfect outfit and have the perfect shoes, bag and accessories to go with it. She is flawless. She is funny, really hilarious. She is quite sarcastic and packs a lot of punch for such a tiny little thing that looks so cute. She is super athletic. She can kick ass at any sport. She is giving and very sentimental. She is the softness to me and Melissa's edge. She loves love and gives love. She is the first to hug, congratulate, celebrate or cry and be sad with you. She really feels things. She empathizes. I love her.

Of course when she told Mel and I she was getting hitched we were ecstatic but a little nervous too. How would this rock our friendship boat? But as we spent time with them together Melissa and I both came to love Ryan. He is the guy that you want your best friend to marry. He loves McCall so much! He is funny and kind and generous and wise and fun and so much more.

This weekend we are all headed here:


Charlotte, NC where Mel resides at the moment. Mel turned 23 on August 3. So we are celebrating all together. She has quite a birthday surprise headed her way (more about that in a later post).

We will be going to see:

In concert. It should be a blast.
